Curry plant questions

We planted a few curry plants and they are growing really well or do they look out of control and need triming,if so how far do we cut them back?

    They don't normally get trimmed other than removing spent flowers. 
    The Phormium in between them however, will soon crowd them out, so you may need to move it, or the Helichrysums.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
