Thanks @LG_.  I think maybe the notches on the edges of your seedling aren't present on mine... ah well, back to the drawing board!   :)

Found another patch of weeding to do! These are younger, and still notched rather than serrated.

I don't suppose I can legally send a bunch to you, can I?

I'm with Lizzie, C look like Scabious. Those fuzzy leaves and their shape are v. familiar.

D looks similar but the habit is different - the leaves flaring out from the base with no real petiole, similar to a dandelion, y'know? where it is trying to spread.

I guess keep everything in pots till they start getting more distinctive, that way you don't accidentally plant out a nuisance.

    Lovely idea @LG_ , but I think it's against the rules...   :/

Thanks, @Raboon.  I'll plant out the Lunaria and Verbascum because I'm pretty sure of those, but leave the rest for a bit.  They might get lined out in the spare bit of veg bed for the time being.

D looks suspiciously like Pilosella aurantiaca (Fox-and-cubs, Orange Hawkweed) before it starts flowering, so keep an eye on that one:

Mmm, thanks @BobTheGardener... there's a large handsome yellow hawkweed in the front garden, so it could be an accidental offspring of that, if not Fox-&-Cubs...
