  Not a peace lily. Maybe a young monstera?

  Oh interesting, so it gets the cut leaf pattern when it’s old?, I still can’t help thinking peace lily

  Yep, I'm not sure how old but I guess when the upper leaves start shading out the lower ones then they develop the windows to let light through. Peace lily leaves are spear shaped not heart shaped. Similar type of growth habit though.

  Thanks fire - monstera it is. 

  My peace lily plant died in the office over lockdown and from memory I thought it was the same.
  I guess monstera won’t have flowers.

  I doubt that Monstera deliciosa ....common name Swiss cheese plant in UK will ever flower but in warm places it will.It is an aroid.....see link.

  That’s really interesting @Silver surfer - my friend who owns this monstera does live in a hot place so maybe I should convince her to grow it outside and see if it fruits.
