Replanting

Hi, think my tomato plant needs repotting. I have a couple of tomatoes coming out. But a bit scared as moved some other veg and they looked like they died. But within a week they had perked back up. But I have roots coming out the holes in the bottom of the pot. Any advice please And should it be outside now Thank you

Outside and in a bigger pot.

I'd put it in a bigger pot asap.

I'd put it outside during the day then back inside at night for a couple of days, then leave it outside...

As long as your climate is suitable, it can go outside after repotting, but not everywhere in the UK is suitable for growing them outdoors.  :)

I think l'm right in saying that Tigerella is a pretty tall growing variety (l thought maybe it was a bit leggy from being indoors).
I would guess the roots are filling the pot by now, so l agree with the others, repot it and put it outdoors.  Depending on where you are, l think overnight temperatures are in double figures at least for a while, so it might be okay to leave it outside, but l bow to others better knowledge on that  :)

Also growing tigrella, amongst others. I would pinch the top off, right down to the next 2 leaves, after you have potted them on. I find When they go from the seed tray to a 9cm pot all the tomatoes sulk and wilt for about 3 days, then they are fine. The rest as fairy says, depend upon where you live, and where you are growing them.i started hardening off in the day,a month ago, then a week of nights, then planted out

I grew Tigerella a few years ago when the girls got me a few seeds as a present. I didn't find it any different in terms of growing, or potting on, from any other variety. I wasn't overly impressed with them though. Nothing special to eat.
Apparently they can split easily but I had no problem with them.
