Shrivelled Sweet Pepper Plants

Hi all, I have been growing some sweet pepper from a seed and 2 of them have gone shrivelled. The smaller one has been shrivelled since it germinated but the larger of the two is beginning to shrivel. I can’t see any pest and have only been watering when required. Does anyone know why this is happening? The blue pellets are slug repellent which is safe to use. Thanks

Peppers need a very warm environment and best germinated in small pots and then grown on.  The weather hasn't been ideal this year but hopefully as it warms up, things should pick up.
Difficult to see from your pics but looks like you have planted them in Gro Bags - probably too small to do that immediately.Lots of cool wet compost around their roots which they won't thank you for.
You don't say where they are but direct sun whilst they are small will often result in shrivelling - alternatively, the same can happen if they are exposed to cold.  Bit of a minefield if you haven't grown them before.
As you mentioned Slug pellets..........might be a good idea to ease off on them - they act as an attractant rather than a deterrent so just a few sprinkled about would be better ( cheaper too ).
