I picked "other". I use a general sprinkling of chicken poo pellets over the borders and permanent containers in spring and again in summer if I remember and the weather is wet enough to wash it in. For new permanent or long-term planting in the ground I use bone meal added to the hole for autumn/winter planting and BFB for spring/summer planting. For summer bedding in containers I use slow-release granules, and for tomatoes, cucumbers and courgettes in containers I use whichever cheap-ish liquid tomato food I can get hold of. That probably sounds like a lot but the soil here is poor and sandy (I use as much compost as I can make too, for digging in and mulching).
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

I also chose ‘other’.  All my plants are in pots.  This year I changed from using slow-release granules only to using a liquid feed only.  I’ve looked at the bottle I’m using and although it describes itself as organic and vegan, nowhere can I see a mention of the plant or plants it’s derived from.  It does have quite a strong smell though (it sort of reminds me of bovril from my very distant youth), so seaweed based possibly?
