Jacaranda Mimosifolia Tree : Soil?

Hi all
I'm a total newbie when it comes to gardening and this is my first post!
I am in the process of buying small trees to plant in my garden and stumbled across a tree called : Jacaranda.
I would like to plant this in our garden. I have seen seeds that can be purchased online.
They recommend sandy compost. Shall I just use multi purpose compost or is there a specific make of sandy compost that I should use?
Shall I plant it in a pot and then transfer it to the my garden when it grows bigger? or plant direct into soil?

Thanks

    Where is your garden?
Jacaranda trees come from tropical or sub tropical South America and cannot be grown outdoors in the UK. You would need a conservatory like the Palm house at Kew to get one to flower indoors, so I doubt if you need worry about the compost.
If you love the blue flowers, maybe try a Ceanothus instead, you are more likely to be successful :)
Beware of seeds advertised online unless it is by a reputable company. Many of them are scams and you do not get what you paid for.

Thank you for your advice. 😊
My garden is in sunny East London 😅
I’m more interested in colorful and hardy trees. Eg Acer x freemanii 'Autumn Blaze'
