Overcrowded raised beds?

Hi there,

I have two raised beds which have tomato, courgette, beans, leeks and carrots in them. I will be thinning the carrots and leeks out at some point but are the beds in general too overcrowded?

Why so wet, is that top one draining ok?

Aside from being far too wet.. I find raised beds are okay being a bit more crowed than suggested planting spacing.  Typically better soil, more attention from the gardener, and space on the sides for air and light.

Thanks both - I should point out I'd just watered...but did I over water in that case? haha.

All beds seem to be draining well.

I suppose as the plants grow up I'll need to thin them out to give more space, particularly the carrots and leeks?
