Lawn Weed Problem

Hi,

Hoping someone can tell me what this weed (assuming it's that) is that is taking over my lawn?  It's also seeding into the borders and going rampant.
Is there a product I can use to hopefully get rid or reduce it?

    Aye, that possibly makes sense as sometimes there are little blue (violet!) flowers on it.  Hadn't put the two together as assuming it was a weed.

    Any way to get rid?

    Not sure but I tried growing it in my lawn and it just disappeared!
    A lawn weedkiller would do I think.
