Help with ants.

Hi,  we seem to have a major ant issue in our garden. About a third of our lawn seems to be one enormous red ant colony and it’s turning our lawn into a muddy, lumpy mess. We did try nematodes as I’m trying to keep the garden wildlife friendly but they don’t seem to have worked. Is there anything else I can do that doesn’t include chemicals?
