Aubergine- I have 3 plants can I put 2 in GH and 1 outside or do they need each other to pollinate ?

do veg plants always need another in order to pollinate to get fruit ?

    I've never grown them but aubergines are self-fertile ( like peppers, each flower has both female and male parts). However I think they need reasonable warmth to set fruit so depending on where you are and what the summer is like you might find greenhouse ones do better .
