Azalea Fuiri Oomurasako struggling

I bought one of these last year in a garden centre in England. I normally don't like to spend a lot and bring things on but I fell in love with the variegated paper like leaves.
Fast forward this year and despite wrapping it the harsh frost got at it. It still had some green leaves so i thought it may come back, but it's still struggling.
Any suggestions for TLC?

Can you post a picture to see how is it "struggling"?

    Here it is.

Looking at it the past tense seems more appropriate :(
Did you water it during the dry weather, and has it been exposed to full sun and/or wind? Does that pot have a drainage hole?

How has your weather been in the last month or so? Hot, windy, any late frosts? Do you remember exactly when the foliage began to be affected? Elaborate on watering practices. Have you checked for root rot?

    It is an ex-azalea!
It is in a relatively shaded bit of the garden but gets dappled sun.
The hard frost got it winter but as I say it still had some green on it afterwards.

I have been watering it and there are holes at the bottom of the pot.
It may be root rot, I read somewhere you can reinvigorate with a diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide, not sure but may try that.

The green leaves on it were relatively healthy until about a week ago, but now they are struggling, it may be that I just have to give up the ghost.
