Fire blight
Help! I think my pear got fire blight. I thought it was sun damage and moved the pear. Now I think it was blight and it's spread to my mature Rowan and bay trees, and it's not just a few branches either I really don't want to lose these lovely big trees. Help!! Is it blight and what can I do?

When blight occurs, part of a branch dies and all the leaves after that point die too as the virus cuts off the water supply to the rest of the branch.
So there would be branches with healthy leaves on one part of the branch and dead leaves along the rest of the branch.
Yours doesn't look like that.
But - other than weather conditions, I don't know what it might be.
