Plant Identification needed

Hi i was given this plant by a neighbour. It was almost totally dead but iv managed to bring it back to life ๐ŸŽ‰
Iv no idea what is is however (and neither does my neighbour ๐Ÿ˜†)
I wondered if anyone could tell me?

  • I think that might be a type of hardy chrysanthemum. It looks a lot like one I grow in my garden called 'Spartan Canary'.

    That looks very much like a hardy chrysanthemum.ย  They die back over the winter and re-emerge in spring.ย  The leaves should have quite a distinctive smell if you rub them (I love that smell!).ย  It you want it in a pot, I would repot it into a bigger one than the one it's in - it will have used up all the nutrients in that one.ย  They are quite thirsty plants.ย  No way of knowing which variety you have until it flowers.
