I do wonder how much culinary oil I’d actually use. Rosemary oil might be good for roast lamb. But like you say fresh is more flavourful and I always have fresh. Like you I’m unlikely to display it @philippasmith2

My recipe for calendula is to keep drying as many flower heads as possible and collect them in paper bag until I have enough to do something with it?
