Anyone help with this plant ID

Hi,

Trying to find out what this plant is. It is taking over any space it can.

It's even managed to get into my pea containers which are on the other side of the garden.

Thanks

It's a willowherb, it's what they do, their seeds waft on the wind and get everywhere!

It's one of the willowherbs - best removed

    Billericay - Essex

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
  • Thanks.

Just used Plantsnap and it came back as Rosebay Willowherb.

  • looks like it has pretty nice flowers when they appear.

yes, then the fluffy seeds disperse everywhere and you end up with a garden full of them :)

It's not Rosebay, that has a longer, greyer leaf, with a pale midrib. That one is probably Lesser willowherb. Small, single, pink flowers, but insects still like them, just don't let them seed!
