My Purple Cabbage is growing like this….is this normal or should I pull it?

I’m not sure this is normal or not? I’m new to this…

Also my broccoli  leaves on some plants have pale marks on…




please advise

    As Bob says, that's a kohlrabbi let it get a little bit bigger and eat it.

    Very good ... lots of lovely recipes on line ... delicious roasted or made into soup ... but my favourite recipe is for a sort of slaw with apple, parsley and a lemon and olive oil dressing.

    It's probably one called 'Purple Vienna', which is a good variety - very tasty and you can let them get quite large before they start going 'woody'. :)

    Yes, pick them soon.  I love them raw.. peel it with a knife, slice thin, then dress with olive oil, vinegar, and seasonings.  Goes great with slices of radishes, or whatever else you have ready in the garden.

    The leaves are edible too and taste exactly like cabbage when cooked so don't waste them.
