Tree identity help needed

Can anyone identify this please? We have a few at the bottom of the garden, there is a fruit tree which is either damson or sloe next to it but the trees are quite young so we can't figure out what they are, they are only about 6ft with very thin trunks at the min and need support to stand up.

    The leaves and growth tips look like plum family to me, so I suspect they are either suckers from the other tree, or saplings which have grown from the seeds of fallen fruit.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
