Plant identification help please

Hi, does anyone know what this is? 
My mum gave it to me but she can't remember what it was, I'm sure she said it was a sea holly or something?! (Pictures are sideways i think)

    I thought that's what she said it was, but as she couldn't remember I wasn't sure if I was right! hahaa I will tell her!
