What is this little plant??

Hi my friends dad brought on some bedding plants but we can’t identify this one? Could it be a weed? :)

    Don't know what it is but I get it my lawn sometimes - not a keeper

    Think it’s a weed called plantain, quite medicinal possibly but not bedding.

    That’s brilliant thank you. I’ve just googled it that’s exactly what it is! I tell my friend to take out the ones she’s lovingly planted lol!!

    I've got one growing in some stone steps which is a dark reddish brown, with large leaves. Quite a handsome plant and found some seedlings too, seems to be coming true from seed. :)
