Parcel ( Parsley x Celery)

I saw some weeny plants in the garden centre today but was scared to buy them as although parsley does fine, I have never had any joy with celery, too dry I think (!) Anyone have any experience?
Everyone likes butterflies. Nobody likes caterpillars.

    They probably taste like cardboard.

    It’s a leafy Cut & Come Again type of celery used as a herb for soups and salads in Northern Europe ... it needs consistently moist soil or it bolts. 
    I find lovage easier to grow and interchangeable with parcel in cooking. 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    You only eat the leaves, chopped like parsley.

    I have one that was given to me by a friend. We don't eat it and it always puts up flower spikes (bolting, if I intended to use it as a veg) but I like the flowers, so effectively I treat it the same as any ornamental perennial. It is reliably perennial for me on dry sandy soil.

    That sounds like a no, then. Pity as everyone loves celery.
