Plant I'D please

Hi can anyone help me identify this please? I have it coming up all over garden and as you can see it has grown huge in some beds. My app is saying it is either yellow thistle or African marigold but neither seem right to me 😕

    Cephalarea gigantea? It looks pretty much the same as mine.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

    I agree.  Lovely plant and very attractive to pollinators.  It does get large but isn't a thug in my experience.
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
