Well the only other thing I could come up with is that early yesterday I threw some dilute miracle-gro fertiliser over everything and it could have burnt in the sun but it looks like blight , and the marks are sunken “One touch of nature makes the whole world kin”

I've done some research, but I'm wondering will it only slow down the growth into full size onions or should I just reap them as spring onions this week?
As a side note, the bed itself is being re-used to grow turf after this so no need to wrry about future infestations
