Thanks @didyw that’s all super helpful advice!! No the door was long gone unfortunately, but I was able to order a spare online so I’ve been using that! It was all compost but I disposed of the most of it as I wasn’t sure if I could still use it (after who knows how long it’s been there) I definitely will, I have been using an app now called Seek which id’s plants when you point your camera at them (as well as fungi, animals and insects!) pretty cool, but there were some it didn’t recognise even though the leaves seemed quite distinct to me..
@Liriodendron That is so great, I know the incredible edible! How amazing they’ve been able to grow their idea so much! That is a good idea, I don’t have Facebook but I could ask a friend to post for me - I do use Freecycle a lot which might be worth a try..
@JennyJ yes the beds are very rotten, I would be able to get some budget from the housing community to spend on new beams. But There is no budget for someone to actually change them (apart from me doing it myself!), so I think I’ll let that be for a little while longer!
