Any ideas?

Can anyone identify this plant? I haven’t the foggiest as to what it is!

Not sure, but I'd take a punt on either a Daphne or Hebe

    Billericay - Essex

The way that the newest leaves are growing looks Hebe-ish to me.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
  • Thanks both I with go with the Hebe and wait to see what the flowers come out like.... if it flowers this year! It doesn’t appear to be getting ready to flower so far this year!
