Geranium Buxton’s Blue - not blue

    I don't think any geranium is a true blue. They are all more purple to me. Same as bluebells.  Cornflowers are a true blue, forgetmenots and Salvia patens.  I always thought that Pattys plum was a muddy colour.

    Some are bluer than others (Orion looks bluer to me than Rozanne) and it's also dependent on the time of day. Same is true of Phoxes - 'Blue Paradise' looks a mucky pink in sunlight, but glows with a blue colour in the evening.
