    One of the conifers. There are loads of varieties.
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    It could be a Chamaecyparis, but I don’t know the species or variety.

    Agreed - Lawsons Cypress or similar although the blue-ish blobs might confuse some - these are in fact the 'pine cones' of its type
