Leaf Damage

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows what would make these circular holes in our Cannova Scarlet Bronze? It only seems to be on one leaf.

    It's slugs or snails. They chew through while the leaf is still folded [before it opens [properly] and when it opens, you get that effect.
     
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
