Jacks Magic Compost

I've used this for several years, usually adding 30mm to my raised veggy beds.  This year it seems to be full of weed seeds, all the same type, completely covering my beds and it needs a huge amount of weeding to find my plants!  I used a different compost on two other beds and not a single weed.  has anyone else had this issue?

I've used it this year and never noticed that, but there was an aerial bombardment of fluffy floating weed seeds a few weeks ago, and everything is covered in tiny weed seedlings anyway so it's hard to tell. I've stopped using Jack's Magic as it contains peat and would definitely recommend you use a non peat soil conditioner on your beds

I bought a few bags of Jacks Magic a few years ago and found it brilliant but when I noticed that it contained peat it put me off, I have used it sparingly and have about half a bag left but sadly won't be buying any more as my modest gardening needs don't warrant me using peat.
