Can anyone help me to identify the two plants in the attached pictures - they keep popping up behind my wall and I’ve let them grow this year out of curiosity.
The second one could be Yellow archangel ... Lamium galeobdolon. Good groundcover if you have several acres of shade where not much else will grow ... otherwise it can become an invasive thug. Let it know who’s boss 😖

My neighbours have it amongst their shrubbery and it's grown under the gravel boards and constantly spreads into my garden - they also seem keen to cultivate bindweed along the same stretch which follows the lamium under the fence and up my roses!! .....😖

Lower one looks like some type of dead nettle (lamium)
PS what an awesome view you have!

How bizarre that a currant should pop up there!
P.S. it’s quite something that view isn’t it, we’re very lucky!
