Seedlings grown but they're not showing any flowers....

Hi,
I planted my seedlings as usual in my greenhouse in March/April. I've got lots of flower varieties from Marigold to Cosmos to Lobelia and Snapdragons.
The plants look healthy but I can only see buds on my sweet peas. Is anyone else in the same situation because of the weather? I don't know what's going on and I feel so disappointed.
Thanks

Cold spring. Many plants are further behind. I'd guess it would have been far too cold for small seedlings, if they were out there in March, to be doing as well as usual.
Once it warms up, they should come away  :)

The sweet peas should be outside by now - they're really quite hardy, and be hardened off quite quickly, even in cool temps   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Everything is way behind this year. This time a year ago l was planting out Cosmos, this year they're just coming out of the greenhouse to be hardened  off.
Things will catch up. As long as they look healthy, l wouldn't worry  :)
  • Thanks AnniD,  you've put my mind at rest. I've only just started hardening mine off too for the past few days.
    Thanks again 😊
  • Thanks Fairygirl - I've got my soil filled ready for the sweet peas so hopefully I can get them down this weekend.
Thanks for your reassurance nobody that I know grows from seed so it was difficult to find an answer.
