Bugs on my Dahlias!

RosieGRosieG Posts: 17
Hi, I checked my Dahlias this morning and a couple are covered in these eggs/insects, they seemed to appear overnight  :'( Does anyone know if they are thrips and how I would get rid of them? Thanks!

They are probably just aphids (greenfly). You can wipe them off with your fingers.

Thanks, I wondered that but a couple look black yellow ibsects - the others looks more like eggs? Would this be greenfly I haven't had them before. Thank you.

I'd leave them alone, ladybirds and hoverflies will move in and clear them up
    Devon.
