Hello knowledgeable GW people

Would you have any idea what this flower is? A fancy foxglove?
Thank you in advance

It's a verbascum of some variety, not sure which.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

I think maybe Verbascum phoenicium or one of its hybrids.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
