Boston Ivy disease

My Boston Ivy grows against the wall and is usually lush and green when it comes out. This year it is covered in red spots with red edges to the leaves and some leaves have died. Can't find anything like it online

    Is it suffering because it's far too dry.  I'd water it every day with 3 or 4 watering cans full for the next couple of weeks and see what happens.  Report back what happens so that others can benefit from your experience.

    Do you have a photo, close up and from a greater distance to see just how big and old it is.
