Creating lawn

Hi i have recently smashed up an old concrete path that ran along my lawn and I want to turn it back into lawn just wondered if people had any advice on how to level to match the rest of the lawn please as best I can please. C

    Break up the underlying soil as it will be compacted, add more soil, level it, firm it by walking over it, rake lightly and reseed. It may settle and sink a bit but you can add a little more soil and over sow again later. The same would apply if you use turf. Ideally, you'd leave it for a month or two to settle, and then top up and seed. 

    It's also worth sowing some  of the seed over the rest of the grass so that you don't have a 'line' that's different from the rest. It's almost impossible to match it all up otherwise. If you turf, it's also worth doing that with some seed for the same reason. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
