Chocolate Cosmos

Hi I am growing a chocolate cosmos from tuber, does anyone happen to know if it should be pinched back or just left to grow? Thanks!

Hi there, I have one developing from a rooted tuber supplied earlier this year and am planning to treat it like a dahlia, ie removing the growing point above the first two sets of leaves to produce a bushier plant.  I have used this technique on ordinary Cosmos and they are already bushier and starting to flower.
    Wirral. Sandy, free draining soil.

You could I suppose but I never have with mine. Just keep on top of the deadheading.
