  yes, I wondered about that.  Thanks.
  I did plant some bluebells some years ago, but I thought they were native ones - 
  wonder if they failed to thrive.
  I know Spanish bluebells are spreading, and not welcome by many.
  wonder if I should keep or remove..

  thanks - looks most like the one on the right to me! - Spanish...
  not sure what happened to my originals... perhaps they didn't enjoy that spot - or I made the mistake of ordering the wrong type - but I would have thought I'd have been attentive.
