It’s like the main stem in thicker than the stem in the ground...others are upright....

I think it’s called leggy?

Any advice would be appreciated.

How long is it since they were planted? Young plants like that sometimes go a bit floppy until the root growth gets going, so if it's not been planted long, it'll probably right itself. Make sure they're firmed in well (brassicas like that) and don't go short of water.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Is it too early for cabbage root fly? They attack all brassicas. If it is and the plant dies, pull it up and see if there are white grubs. Whether it is or not, you need to protect against it. Some people use fine nets over hoops. Or you can try a disc of (say) old carpet, plastic, or similar, placed around each plant. That has worked for me one year when I had lost a couple of broccoli plants to the little blighters. It looks like you have yours under plastic, polytunnel? but the cabbage root fly will still find them I’m afraid.
Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.
