Is my Fatsia dying?

Hi, our Fatsia has developed patches on it`s leaves. It is a long established plant and we have grown fond of it over the years. Is this a minor problem or could we lose it? We would be grateful for any help. We had some very cold nights during the winter, -11 once.

Probably frost damage. It looks ok. They're pretty tough.

Bit of shot hole. Just remove and dispose of those. It can happen when plants are crowded. Fatsias need a big area to grow in.
Cold doesn't affect them other than to make leaves dark, even sustained cold of minus ten. They recover when warmer.  It's perfectly normal for them to have damage after winter, You can take off stems completely [back to the main stem/trunk] and new growth will follow.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

What @Fairygirl said. I took out 3 old branches with tatty foliage from mine yesterday (and I might take off more - not decided yet).
