I planted a row of crabapple hedges and this has appeared on the leaves on most of the trees. Can anyone confirm for me if this looks like fire blight and if so what can I do? I bought these hedges as the ground is quite waterlogged heavy clay and was advised that they would do ok in this soil, but now i'm wondering with all the rain we've had, maybe they weren't the best idea? They seem to be growing really well apart from these patches.

As the name suggests, the affected parts look like they have been burned-
My amelanchier has the same on the leaves as yours.
I've not bothered to find out the cause, so will keep an eye on the thread
But it's probably fungal - and untreatable
