Minibell Tomatoes

Hello everyone,

I’m growing minibell tomatoes at the moment and they’re just over a month old. I know that they’re a bush variety, so won’t grow too big, but I was wondering if anyone could tell whether they are doing okay after nearly 5 weeks of growing?

Thank you

If you mean 5 weeks since sowing, then yes- they look very good  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Ah thank you! Yes I meant from sowing. I just felt like they had slowed down or were under developed slightly :)

They look very healthy. You'll probably find they'll shoot away once temps improve.  :)
In many areas, it's been colder than normal this spring, so lots of people have found it difficult to get plants hardened off and outside, at the time they normally would do it. It's still too early for toms outside, virtually everywhere in the UK. Night time temps need to be double figures for them to thrive and grow on, so they need protection for a while yet.
If you're in a colder, wetter area, they generally need to be under cover all through the season.
