  • I've got some lovely hokkaido pumpkin plants but they are slowly getting to big for my indoor space i have. No choice, in no space out to cold.

I've put my squashes in the greenhouse and I've wrapped them in fleece when it's cold.   I feel they'd struggle if they were planted exposed to the elements in a cold wet soil. Hopefully I'll put them out in about a week and fleece them for a bit

Only just planting out some veg seedlings as the "last frost" didn't stop the horrendous NE winds and the devastation it causes.
Never had a year when we have sown so many veg seeds in doors and had to wait so long before we dared to plant them out. Even when we did some weeks ago the frost (still around even though we cloched them ) still stopped them and they are only just starting to grow but will we get produce?
    So far behind this year.
