Dahlia (leaf rot) diagnosis help needed

My dahlia has a noticeable problem. The edges are drying out and moving inwards. I made the mistake of watering overhead last week so I’m not sure if this is the result of the issue or it’s something worse. Does anyone know what this issue is and could advise me on what to do? I’d love to save it if it’s possible. Thank you in advance for any wisdom and assistance.

It might just be frost damage? Or sun scorch?

@Fire sun scorch could be a possibility. It’s been hot lately. We’ve been free of frost for many weeks now.

The damage appearing on these leaves in my picture are starting to appear on previously fine leaves.

I think they may have started into growth too early. Dahlias are from Mexico and are very resentful of cold and damp early season. DO NOTHING. They will usually resprout when the weather warms up. Good luck!

@ciaranmcgrenera it’s been protected from the wind. It’s currently living in a pot in my sunroom.

@Inglezinho I planted this tuber in a pot mid April. It’s lived that time in my sunroom.

It sat outside once earlier this week and once before that last week when I made the stupid mistake to water overhead.

Could this be a bacterial virus? My Google search hasn’t helped.

Note: zone 9a, a potted dahlia in a sunroom. Was watered overhead once. It sat outside in full sun twice.

It looks like sun or wind burn. Water droplets on the leaves can magnify the effect of sun, if you are lucky enough to have any. (Non stop rain here!)
The rest of the leaf looks fine :)
