New Polytunnel User

Hi All

I've then the plunge and ordered my first polytunnel.

Can someone please recommend a good book for a polytunnel beginner?

Thanks for your help
I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong...

    Hello and welcome.
We never used a book for what to do with our polytunnel.
We just put it into the garden and then thought....ok what are we we now going to grow? Always veg but some fruit.
In ours we have strawberries, melons, chinese yams, salad crops, aubergines, tomatoes, chilies, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, pak choi, kohl rabi.
A great part of our garden.

I built mine back in March. Top tip- anchor your structure REALLY well. Depending on the make some poly tunnels can be really lightweight abs flimsy and the slightest wind will rip it apart if not blow it away completely.. you might not even find it on the plot after a storm.

In my case I had the base bolted onto four ground screws, duck taped all the joints and have two guy ropes going over the top tied to ground anchors.
