Allium purple sensation

Hi all, anyone else have disappearing alliums this year?. I think I planted 40 bulbs 2 years ago and only have one about to flower. I can see foliage for many others starting to die back but no flower stem.

A bit disappointed. Or maybe there is still time as it has been very cold.

    Oh could be. They got loads of my seedlings too. I didn't think they go for alliums.

    I none of mine have appeared either. So disappointing.

    I wonder could it be weather related too. Very cold spring. Doubt they will be appear now that foliage is dying back. At least I know the bulb is still there so maybe there is hope for next year
