Shrub rescue

Hi I'm a bit of a novice and need some advice.  At the end of last summer a few of my shurbs have seemed to have dyed off due to cat urine. The cat has left but dissipate feeding the shurbs don't show any signs of recovery. Have they gone or can i try something else?

Do you know what shrubs they are and if possible, post a few photos so we can get an idea of the size and soil conditions. Normally, dried brittle stems are signs of dead branches. You can also scrape a small top layer of the branches to see if it is still green underneath.
