Aldi acers are £11.99 - quite big (c. 1m). Standing in full sun with no water - wanted to take them all home into dappled shade, and soak them!

My local Poundland had a few plants. I bought 15 Triteleia Laxa bulbs for £2.

    Because they had died? ;)

I used to hate a trip to the supermarket but the chance of buying a plant or two made me smile. I haven't been in a supermarket since lockdown sadly. Funny how you miss things you thought you hated. Will tell my friend about the Wisteria a real bargain
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

The Co-op in Bakewell has trollies laden with dying plants of all kinds.

No cacti, which might just have made it through.

    So sad to see.
Our local Sainsbury's has the same

    In the sticks near Peterborough

Can anyone remember when Lidl has grasses? I feel like I bought some last year around this time but may be mistaken.

My nearest one here in Dundee has loads,
Edit. My mistake, it is an Aldi that has the grasses.
