Does anybody know what type of plant this is. It has begun to grow in different areas on one bank.

    Looks rather like celandine but I thought it would be nearly over by now.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Some people think it is a problem if they have it their borders, as they see it as invasive, but it disappears after flowering. 
    We still have loads in flower here as it's a bit later for us. Lovely along all the verges and hedgerows, and in shady spots when very little else grows.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    We are over run with it,north facing garden I tried for years digging it out,it will disappear soon until next year,I have given up worrying about it
