Nimbus F1 Tomato ...Bush / Cordon

I have been given some of the above and the plants are about 18 inches tall.

I usually grow bush varieties as on my allotment it is very windy and they need protection.

With these Nimbus apparently I need to pinch out the side shoots and tie to a pole.

? If I dont and restrict the top growth will they become "bush types "

I will try one as a cordon and one as a trial bush type.

? Any thoughts friends please
