Blue Tit visiting shed

For the last couple of days I've seen a blue tit going in and out of our shed through the little window which is always open.  I can't see or hear any sign of a nest in there.  Could it be collecting things for nest building.....I thought they would have been finished with that by now.

    @pansyface well there are certainly plenty in there lol  I've lived here for 27 years and have never seen birds going into the shed before.

    I have a great tit which has just started building a nest in my camera box. I also thought it's very late!

    @Singing Gardener it does seem late doesn't it.  I have 2 boxes.  The blue tits were there every day pecking at the entrance for weeks but this month nothing and both boxes empty.  It must be nice having the camera box...it's on my list for next year.

    I have the start of a swallow's nest in an outside studio.  I have left the door open hoping that the couple haven't abandoned it.  It wasn't there yesterday and it's still quite small.  It's stuck onto an overhead light with mud and hay.  

    Does anyone know if they abandon nests?  
    A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

    @poppyfield64 I have 3 boxes and most years the tits only use the non-camera ones! I've only once before had a successful nest in the camera box.

    That's frustrating @Singing Gardener and probably what will happen to me too lol.  I suspect they have found their nest sites now.  They still come her to feed and wash in the bird bath.  I've noticed also that the house sparrows that continually fed on the fat blocks and nothing else are favouring the mealworms so they must have young already.

    @tui34 sorry I can't be of help with that but in our area we don't see swallows so much.  Hopefully they will be back to finish building.

    I got sent a link to a bird box camera. All good at first, but they filled it with so much bedding that it blocked the lens  :D

    In mine the camera is right at the top so that's unlikely to happen. It doesn't produce a brilliant picture though. Below is today's picture - 1 egg laid this morning!
